The Bowling League is a loose alliance of radio enthusiasts, malcontents, frop smokers, hackers, and shortwave religious broadcasters that was formed in the early part of the 20th Century by deranged individuals in Portugal.
Today, The Bowling League sponsors worthwhile community events, thought provoking free form technical experimentation, and an annual squid jigging competition.
The League is dedicated to enlightening the public through production and distribution of stimulating and entertaining audio animations dedicated to some of the finest engineering talent on the planet today.
The League encourages and promotes the spread of jamba in all forms. In 2006, League members successfully created an Ape Team that secretly infiltrated the Rodent Revolution with Subgenius double agents.
The number of members of The Bowling League, and the identities and locations of it's membership, is a closely guarded secret. The League promotes the idea of multiple secret societies with vague and conflicting agendas, and is often described as a modern day Illuminati.
