Commander Bunny is the leader of the Rodent Revolution. He has been broadcasting his enlightening monkey propaganda on radio since at least 1965, mostly via a station identifying as WBNY. Many of his broadcasts are thinly disguised messages to forces he commands in the field in the never ending battle against Monkey Boys. Humans, or "ape-humans" are in fact, "monkey-boys" according to the doctrine of Commander Bunny and the Rodent Revolution. In 2007, Commander Bunny entered mainstream politics by announcing his entry into the 2008 Presidential Election.

In another revolutionary move, one never accomplished by any pirate radio station or even mainstream presidential candidate, Bumper Stickers and t-shirts were made available via eBay. Commander Bunny also selected Reverand Kracker as a running-mate, and is advancing a platform that, among other things, promotes drinking and the use of marijuana. There is also talk of implementing a "Fansome-free zone". While the 2008 election was rigged and thrown by devious ape-humans of the Diebold Corporation, the true, popular election results, had Commander Bunny winning by 54%-46% for Obama/McCain. However, the ape-human, monkey-boys threw the election and made it look like Obama had won. Commander Bunny has vowed to wage yet another battle for President in 2012 and have "better T-shirts and snazzier bumper stickers" than the ape-humans who stole the 2008 election.

WBNY tends to use any mode available, including AM, SSB, FM and SSTV, RTTY and FAX. It also broadcasts on a range of frequencies,6792.5, 6950, 13900 but usually 6925. It is extremely active at times, often making several broadcasts in a single weekend. WBNY has been known to broadcast its own spy numbers stations. He sent the "numbers geeks" into a tizzy for months, trying to decipher one of its transmissions. A typical WBNY numbers transmission in 2004 was deciphered as follows:

APE HUMANS MUST BE STOPPED AL F[A]NSOME CHECK TIRE PRESSURE RODENTS RULE. 
YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME TRYING TO DECODE THIS STUPID HUMAN. 
RODENT REVOL[U]TION WILL WIN GO F*CK YOURS[E]LF 

Another deciphered numbers transmission shows a similar theme exploited by WBNY:

al fansome is a good human he will feed you eat the special carrots we got from gania that is all bunny out 

Sadly Commander Bunny has, because of his visibility, his superior production, his widely, world wide heard broadcasts, been the object of jealousy by those in the pirate radio community who either don't broadcast or think they speak for others, or simply have mental problems they exhibit by being critical of the top notch pirates. This jealousy has led to many false charges against Commander Bunny and childish, juvenile attacks against Commander Bunny. The sad, pathetic individuals behind these cowardly attacks have never stepped forward to take credit for them, but most within the Pirate Radio community know who they are, and talk about them behind their backs, making fun of them, their wives or boyfriends as the case may be and and their websites. And by now, those pitiful, pathetic critics, know they are the object of ridicule and hide their monkey heads in shame!
