Religion is a touchy subject.

Bowling League members, exposed to an overwhelming array of kooks, conspiracy theorists, shitbags, and other scum all parading under a veil of "religion," tend to be very suspicious of all organized religion. Perhaps, then, it is not surprising that there is a tendency for League members to embrace alternative groups such as the Church of the Subgenius.

Many League members are ordained ministers, and there is at least one Pope in the League.

Various religion-oriented activities promoted by the League include FM translator hijacking, audio animation, pirate radio broadcasting, and Beer contests.
